This is a USSR stunner, gold rings are not made like this anymore. Beautiful intricate art nouveau style detailing with a sparkling alexandrite set in the center.
Alexandrite measures about 1.2cm x 1.2cm. Depending on light, dances from pure purple to a purple with slight fiery pink specks.
Total weight is 8 grams
Note this is 583 - a Soviet Union gold grade that is a hairline below the 14k gold grade (which is 585)
